Note: The preference settings affect all datafiles.
Automatically start when you log in to the computer
If you would like to have iData 2 launch when you startup you Mac then enable this preference. It will add iData 2 to the Startup Items in your account in the System Preferences.
If you later change your mind and no longer want iData 2 to launch at startup, simply uncheck the preference and iData 2 will be removed from your Startup Items.
Show a quit confirmation
If you would like iData 2 to ask your
permission before quitting, enable this preference. This can be useful
if you sometimes intend to type Command-W, but accidentally type
Command-Q
instead. When this preference is selected, you will see the following
dialog each time you quit iData. Selecting the Don't ask again checkbox will turn
this preference off.
Restore Factory Settings
Clicking this button will set all Special Preferences to the default settings that came with iData 2. This button will affect only Special Preferences.
