Datafile Areas
Of the three text areas of iData 2, Find Box, Fields Area, and Freeform Text Area, only one can be active for typing at one time. There are key commands for changing which area is active. These may be useful when you don't want to change the current text selection by using the mouse to click in the text.

Links
When links are first typed in, they are not active (blue underlined). To remedy this, links can be activated with a toolbar button or a key command.
Activate Links ^ A
(Control-Command-a)
Going to a new record will automatically activate links.
