If you would like to refer to one or more files in an iData record, you can create a clickable link to that file. This can be useful for managing project that use numerous files from different applications.
Clicking the Insert link to a file toolbar icon (or typing control-command-option-L) will open a window in which you can select a file. A blue underlined link to the selected file will be inserted at the location of the insertion point.
Clicking on the link will launch the file just
as double-clicking its icon would do in the Finder.
