To create a new datafile containing a sub-set of an existing datafile:
1. Open the source datafile.
2. Select the records that you want to save to the new datafile. (See the instructions on how to make a selection in Chapter 2-38)
3. Choose Save Selected As... from the File menu, and click the Save button. (The default location for the new datafile will be the iData 2 Datafiles folder.)

The newly created datafile will open, so that you can check it and
make any necessary changes or settings. (See the instructions on Datafile
Settings in Chapters 2-7, 2-8, and 2-9.)
